This role sits at the intersection of Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, translating demand signals and operational constraints into a single financial and production plan the business operates against.</p> <p>This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building systems, and is comfortable serving as both planner and thought partner.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Demand Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and refine revenue forecasts for all channels in partnership with Finance, Operations, and Marketing</li> <li>Build out item-level demand forecasts that tie back to revenue forecast and take into account historical data, new product launches, and marketing initiatives</li> <li>Work directly with major retailers to collect replenishment forecasts, selling data, and anticipated new product orders to develop and maintain rolling internal forecasts for each retailer</li> <li>Continuously improve forecast accuracy, structure, and planning processes as the business scales</li> </ul> <p><strong>Supply &amp; Production Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own the integrated supply and inventory plan, translating revenue forecasts and operational constraints into a single production plan the business operates against</li> <li>Build and maintain the production plan, incorporating sales inputs, inventory targets, production capacity, lead times, and cost implications</li> <li>Partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain to align on assumptions, surface constraints, and resolve trade-offs between growth, margin, inventory, and cash</li> <li>Lead scenario and sensitivity analyses to support planning under uncertainty, including capacity constraints, demand volatility, and cost changes</li> <li>Set inventory targets and quantify working capital impact, supporting leadership decisions on build-ahead, stock risk, and service levels</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting &amp; Ad Hoc Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain revenue and product dashboards and KPIs to support leadership decision-making</li> <li>Ensure a clear single source of truth for revenue, COGS, inventory, and operating assumptions</li> <li>Provide ad hoc analysis for growth initiatives, new product launches, and operational improvements</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Experience &amp; Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5–7+ years of experience in Planning, Operations, Brand Finance or a related role, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in manufacturing, CPG, DTC, or inventory-heavy businesses strongly preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong understanding of forecasting, with experience in both demand and supply forecasting</li> <li>Strong business judgment and ability to operate independently with limited structure</li> <li>Clear communicator who can influence across functions</li> <li>Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills required</li> </ul> <p><strong><br>Benefits &amp; Perks</strong></p> <ul> <li>Paid Time Off: 10+ days of PTO with 2nd and 4th anniversary increases + paid holidays and sick time</li> <li>Health Insurance: 80%+ employer contribution (medical, dental, vision) for full-time employees</li> <li>401(k) Retirement Plan: Employee contribution only</li> <li>Performance-Based &amp; Anniversary Bonuses75% product discount and 24+ free products annually</li> <li>Regular weekly schedule</li> <li>Warm, supportive work environment</li> <li>Snacks, team events, and a culture of celebration</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kate McLeod is committed to building a diverse team and fostering an inclusive culture.
