For decades, Secretariat’s IP professionals have delivered exactly that. With experience in hundreds of IP matters across nearly every industry, our experts are trusted for their clarity and credibility.</p> <p>When IP disputes arise, effective expert testimony is essential. Secretariat’s experts excel at presenting understandable, persuasive analyses to judges, juries, and arbitrators. We provide clear testimony in cases involving patent infringement, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and more. Our experts integrate rigorous economic reasoning with relevant legal standards, case law, and the unique facts of each case.</p> <p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a Manager to join our growing team of economists, statisticians, accountants, and financial analysts. We apply our expertise to solve challenging problems – our projects involve high-stakes matters that provide an opportunity to work with prestigious law firms, government entities, Fortune 500 companies, and high-growth corporations in a dynamic, team-based organization.</p> <ul> <li>Case Management</li> <ul> <li>Lead one to three cases at a time</li> <li>Manage teams of Associates</li> <li>Organize case research and data analysis</li> <li>Work closely with economists on a regular basis</li> </ul> <li>Data Analysis</li> <ul> <li>Work with complex databases and raw client data in Stata, R, Databricks and other programs</li> <li>Utilize tools such as Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS for graphical and statistical analysis</li> <li>Analyze industry participants and characteristics affecting market competition</li> <li>Calculate cost and damages estimates</li> </ul> <li>Research</li> <ul> <li>Consult with clients and private sources to obtain necessary data</li> <li>Investigate industries and companies using online and government resources</li> <li>Review litigation and case documents</li> </ul> <li>Team Leadership</li> <ul> <li>Mentor junior members of the team and contribute to the growth and development of the IP team</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong><u>REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or Public Policy (e.g., MBA, MA, MS, PhD preferred).</li> <li>4-6 years of experience at a consulting firm, law firm, regulatory agency, or corporate advisory role.</li> <li>Proven experience working on high-profile IP matters.</li> <li>Strong project management and client-facing skills.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to non-experts</li> <li>Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship in the future</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p></p> <p>At Secretariat, we believe in pay transparency and equity. <span data-teams="true">Compensation for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and location.
