<h1>Manager, Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program (IAP) (MidWest Region)</h1> <h2>Hillel International</h2> <h2>Role Overview</h2> <p>Hillel International is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven professional to serve as <strong>Manager of the Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program (IAP)</strong>. This role is designed for a candidate who brings both subject-matter expertise and the ability to translate it into an actionable campus strategy.</p> <p>The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience engaging students and campus communities in thoughtful, proactive Israel education and programming. They are a strong consultant, relationship builder, and collaborator, capable of guiding Hillel professionals through complex and often high-pressure campus dynamics related to Israel and antisemitism.</p> <p>Working in close partnership with Hillel International colleagues and local Hillel teams, the Manager will help design and implement impactful education and engagement strategies and provide real-time support to campuses navigating anti-Israel activity and antisemitic incidents.</p> <p>The IAP Manager reports to the Director of IAP and serves as an integral member of the national IAP team. <strong>This remote position is available to eligible candidates in the U.S., with a preference for those located in the Midwest. It requires approximately 40% travel.</strong></p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <ul> <li>Provide strategic guidance to Hillels responding to anti-Israel activity and antisemitism on campus</li> <li>Partner with a designated cohort of campuses and assist in designing and implementing Israel education and engagement strategies</li> <li>Serve as a subject-matter consultant on Israel and antisemitism-related issues</li> <li>Develop and scale proactive Israel education and engagement initiatives</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with Israel-focused partner organizations at the local, regional, and national levels</li> <li>Support campuses in moments of crisis and high visibility, providing real-time consultation and strategy</li> <li>Design and facilitate collaborative programming across multiple Hillels, including international opportunities</li> <li>Manage initiatives that engage and develop Hillel student leaders in Israel-related programming</li> </ul> <h2>What You've Accomplished</h2> <ul> <li>3-5 years of experience in a related field</li> <li>A bachelor’s degree (in a related field is preferred)</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of Israel, Middle East affairs, and the evolving campus climate</li> <li>Experience working with diverse populations, including Israeli and/or international communities</li> <li>Track record of building consensus and navigating complex stakeholder environments</li> </ul> <h2>What You’ll Bring to the Job</h2> <ul> <li>Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or crisis situations</li> <li>Strong relationship-building and community engagement skills</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication abilities</li> <li>Highly organized with strong project management skills</li> <li>Experience in informal or experiential education</li> <li>Familiarity with the Jewish communal or nonprofit sector</li> <li>Comfort operating in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments</li> <li>Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities</li> <li>Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset</li> <li>Willingness to travel frequently and engage directly with campus communities</li> </ul> <h2>What You’ll Receive</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Competitive salary in the nonprofit marketplace.
