<p><strong>Location: </strong>This opportunity will be based in our Norwood, MA manufacturing and production facility</p>
<p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Primarily 1st Shift hours. We are a 24/7 facility so must be accessible when needed</p>
<p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> <strong>$130,000.00 - $155,000.00 / yr (dependent on transferrable skills and experience) plus annual bonus up to 12.5% </strong></p>
<p><strong><u>OVERVIEW OF ROLE: </u></strong></p>
<p>The Manager, Maintenance Reliability & Scheduling position is responsible for leading the maintenance organization to ensure safe, reliability, and cost-effective operation of plant equipment and facilities. This role focuses on maximizing asset reliability, minimizing unplanned downtime, improving maintenance processes, planning/scheduling, and developing a proactive, data-driven reliability culture.</p>

<p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p>
<p><strong>Maintenance Leadership </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and contractors.</li>
<li>Establish performance expectations and hold team accountable for safety, quality, and productivity.</li>
<li>Promote a strong safety and food safety culture. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Asset Reliability & Performance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Experience with developing and executing reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime and lifecycle performance is a MUST.</strong></li>
<li>Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and/or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on major breakdowns and chronic issues.</li>
<li>LEAN Six Sigma or related certification a plus</li>
<li>Drive implementation of Predictive, Preventive, and Condition‑Based Maintenance programs.</li>
<li>Track and improve KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and maintenance cost per unit.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Planning, Scheduling & Execution</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure effective maintenance planning and scheduling processes are in place.</li>
<li>Balance reactive, preventive, and improvement work to reduce emergency repairs.</li>
<li>Partner with Production Planning and Operations to optimize downtime scheduling.</li>
<li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Hands-on technical/CMMS experience data integrity, reporting, and system utilization is a MUST. Megamation / D365 experience is a plus.</strong></li>
<li>Analyze maintenance data to improve planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and asset reliability</li>
<li>Track and drive PM completion rates, targeting 100% monthly completion</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, or similar methodologies.</li>
<li>Standardize maintenance procedures, PMs, and best practices.</li>
<li>Support development and standardization of preventive maintenance best practices</li>
<li>Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Budget & Asset Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage the maintenance and reliability budget spend.</li>
<li>Control maintenance costs while improving asset performance.</li>
<li>Coordinate with inventory/parts teams to ensure availability of materials for scheduled work</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Collaboration & Communication</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Engineering, Operations, EHS, Food Safety, and corporate teams on maintenance initiatives and projects</li>
<li>Communicate equipment health, risks, and improvement plans to leadership.</li>
<li>Coordinate with external vendors for inspections, calibrations, and contracted services</li>
<li>Support reporting and KPI tracking to provide data-driven insights to leadership</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred)</li>
<li>7–10+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment</li>
<li>3+ years in a maintenance or reliability leadership role</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical and electrical systems</li>
<li>Experience working in a regulated food manufacturing environment – USDA Preferred</li>
<li>Experience with CMMS/EAM systems</li>
<li>Familiarity with RCFA, FMEA, Predictive Maintenance tools, and asset management practices</li>
<li>Understanding of OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT: </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Able to sit / stand for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.</li>
<li>Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds.</li>
<li>The noise level in the office environment is typically moderate.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel 10% of the time and work nights & weekends.</li>
<li>Company provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on the production floor</li>
