<p><strong> </strong>The Senior Manager, Commercial will lean into cross-functional collaboration to execute a holistic marketplace management strategy that will include a consumer first mindset, clear segmentation, product franchise management and an omni channel approach.</p>

<p>The Senior Manager, Commercial work closely with Director, Commercial to responsible for three key deliverables: 1) Product segmentation plans 2) channel differentiation strategy and 3) deliver profitable growth in APAC. I.e., driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing profitability across the APAC region.</p>

<p>This role will require a broader strategic vision, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the diverse markets and retail landscape within APAC. This role reports to Director, Commercial APAC.</p>
<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>
<p><strong><u>Merchandizing Management</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develops and delivers regional product assortments</li>
<li>Aligns planning process with sales team, marketing team, global merchandizing, and global product team</li>
<li>Collaborate with sales team, marketing team and global merchandizing/ global product team regarding retail customers specific planning, strategy, content, and analytics.</li>
<li>Understands brand, regional and channel priorities and uses the planning process to drive strategic alignment.</li>
<li>Pulls together resources across marketing, consumer insight and operations needed to improve the profitable growth.</li>
<li>Aids in the recommendation of SKU assortment priorities, financial guidelines and synergies across channels, customers and brands within area of responsibility.</li>
<li>Leverages growth driving execution including category management, assortment concept and shopper marketing to deliver comprehensive category growth plans for channels & markets.</li>
<li>Compiles and analyzes market, shopper / end-user, and channel knowledge gaps.</li>
<li>Compiles profiles of competitors and channel customers using primary and secondary research and data.</li>
<li>Gathers competitive and marketplace intelligence and shares with the global team & organization.</li>
<li>Recommends any new product innovation needs to penetrate new channels/customers.</li>
<li>Support Commercial Director in making recommendations on pricing and program guidance.</li>
<li>Collects and analyzes account pricing and distribution for Stanley 1913 and competitive brands.</li>
<li>Understands retailer & distributor margin and pricing expectations by partnering with Sales team .</li>
<li>Analyzes and track potential impact of pricing exceptions on channel / region.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>New Product Launches </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serves as Channel/sales voice on the development of launch strategy.</li>
<li>Serves as customer voice in product development meetings.</li>
<li>Works with Product development team to complete forecast tools.</li>
<li>Participates in the development of new item launch and training materials.</li>
<li>Creates customer and category selling solutions for our customers.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>Commercial Development</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Partner with Ops/Data Analytics team - develops a consistent drumbeat to report sell through data across channels to the organization to inform strategic decisions.</li>
<li>Partner with Sales team and Ops/Data analytics - create action plans and capitalize on sales opportunities based on the analysis.</li>
</ul>

<li>Assist Director, Commercial to build and lead a high-performing commercial team. Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enable them to achieve their goals and maximize their potential. <li>Drive cross-functional initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver superior customer value.</li>

<li>Proven 12+ years of growing commercial & merchandizing responsibility in product category/ assortment planning across multiple channels and retail accounts both offline/online, channel management, and sales, in fashion apparel, footwear, sporting goods, consumer goods industries</li>
<li>5+ years of leadership team experience and regional merchandising strategy development experience within the industries mentioned </li>
<li>Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in diverse markets within APAC.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of cultural nuances, market dynamics, and regulatory environments across the APAC region.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across functions and geographies.</li>
<li>Strategic and high levels thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex commercial plans in a dynamic, competitive and uncertain environment.</li>
<li>Keen understanding and experience of assortment planning, merchandising, and consumer experience initiatives.</li>
<li>Native fluency in English is a must</li>
<li>University or four-year college Degree (BA or BS in related field) or equivalent education</li>
