You will oversee a team of 7–10 professionals, driving excellence in collections, cash applications, and credit management.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a dual-threat leader who combines deep expertise in process optimization with hands-on systems experience. You will be the primary architect for scaling our AR operations, ensuring seamless transitions during our upcoming Oracle ERP implementation, and serving as a critical partner to our Revenue Accounting team as we evolve our billing models.</p> <p><strong>ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p><strong>Strategic Leadership &amp; Team Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 7–10 AR professionals.</li> <li>Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team productivity, DSO, and aging health; hold team members accountable for meeting collection targets.</li> <li>Standardize operational processes to ensure scalable, repeatable workflows, facilitating efficient onboarding and consistent service delivery.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Operations &amp; Collections Excellence</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee the end-to-end AR lifecycle, including cash application, invoice accuracy, and proactive collections.</li> <li>Manage complex collection disputes, specifically addressing PO/invoice discrepancies and facilitating resolution through direct customer engagement.</li> <li>Provide "high-touch" management for troubled or high-risk accounts, ensuring timely payments through relationship management and persistence.</li> <li>Drive the reduction of credit memos by identifying root causes in upstream invoicing and contract alignment.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Systems Transformation &amp; Project Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key thought leader and operational subject matter expert for the <strong>Oracle ERP go-live project</strong>.</li> <li>Collaborate with IT and Finance leadership to ensure accurate data migration and the successful design of new billing processes and invoicing templates.</li> <li>Lead the internal team through the transition, managing customer communication and queries regarding changes in billing formats and system updates.</li> <li>Support the ongoing Quote-to-Cash (QTC) project to sanitize Salesforce data, ensuring upstream data integrity reduces downstream invoicing errors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Partnership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with the <strong>Revenue Accounting team</strong> to support the shift from monthly billing to annual or paid-up-front contract structures.</li> <li>Develop and maintain real-time executive dashboards to provide leadership with clear, actionable insights into AR health and cash flow forecasting.</li> </ul> <p><strong>OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> 8+ years in Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash operations, with at least 4+ years in a leadership/management capacity.</li> <li><strong>Systems Proficiency:</strong> Demonstrated success in leading ERP implementations or major system migrations (Oracle experience highly preferred). Strong proficiency in Salesforce and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel dashboards).</li> <li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Strong understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and the Quote-to-Cash cycle.</li> <li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></li> <ul> <li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Ability to inspire and manage a diverse team; experience in process standardization and change management.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Exceptional negotiation and customer-facing skills; ability to navigate difficult conversations with troubled accounts.</li> <li><strong>Analytical:</strong> Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and root-cause analysis.</li> </ul> <li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.</li> </ul> <p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p> <p>We believe you do your best work when your whole life is supported.
