[US DC] Senior Manager, Planning

<p>The Fulfillment Planning team plays a central role in maintaining efficient Operations and delivering for our customers in a high-growth environment. Our Senior Planning Managers are responsible for end-to-end end-to-end production planning for our U.S. distribution centers, including addressing day-to-day operational risk, analytical problem-solving, and driving improvement of key performance indicators. We are looking for leaders with strong analytical and dive-deep skills, as well as excellent communication skills and executive presence, who can partner effectively with other leaders across functions to solve problems and execute high-level network decisions on a daily basis.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><em>Job Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage the team that is responsible for the on-time creation of daily production plans&nbsp;</li> <li>Track progress to and deviations from the plan, drive problem-solving and root cause analysis&nbsp;</li> <li>Assess and identify potential Operational risks; lead the discussion of risks and plan changes with other key business stakeholders such as Procurement, Logistics, HR and Operations leaders</li> <li>Utilize production planning tools and track performance to ensure the successful execution of production plans</li> <li>Take on projects to drive the continuous improvement of Fulfillment Planning tools and processes and complete them on schedule&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage a team of Fulfillment Planning Managers</li> <li>Report to the AD of Fulfillment Planning&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Key Characteristics</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Thought leader in developing solutions to cross-functional operational challenges</li> <li>Capable of thinking strategically about high-level business impacts as well as being familiar with the details of deliverables</li> <li>Proven ability to adapt quickly in changing situations and to use data to drive the right results&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively develop cross-functional partnerships; open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude</li> <li>Experience managing competing priorities and informing complex decision-making in an ambiguous environment</li> <li>Experience managing people and developing talent&nbsp;</li> <li>A commitment to professional integrity and ethics</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Basic Qualifications</em></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business/ Supply Chain preferred</li> <li>Organizational, project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, math, and written/verbal communication skills</li> <li>Proficiency in Google sheets and/or MS Excel required (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).</li> <li>3-8 years of experience in Production Planning or related positions that require cross-functional collaboration and data analysis to influence stakeholders&nbsp;</li> <li>[Preferred] Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment</li> <li>[Preferred] Experience managing direct reports</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>Schedule</em></strong></p> <p>This is a full-time (40 hours, 5 days per week) role that requires working at least one weekend day.
