We are seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Manager of Privacy and AI Compliance</strong> who’s ready to think outside the box to strengthen our compliance posture across data protection and artificial intelligence governance.</p> <p>This role is ideal for a compliance program manager with at least <strong>6 years of experience </strong>who thrives in an AI-forward environment at the intersection of law, technology, and risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with legal, security, product, and engineering teams to help build best-in-class products and services while ensuring that Momentum’s compliance program scales to meet quickly evolving regulatory and client demands.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Privacy &amp; Data Protection</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and enhance <strong>privacy compliance programs</strong> in line with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other global data protection regulations.</li> <li>Support operationalization of <strong>AI and privacy-by-design principles</strong> across products and business processes.</li> <li>Oversee the <strong>data subject rights request and third-party risk management programs</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>AI Governance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and manage compliance frameworks for <strong>AI and machine learning systems</strong> used in targeting, optimization, data analytics, and measurement.</li> <li>Ensure operational readiness for emerging <strong>AI regulations</strong> (e.g., EU AI Act, U.S., and state-level AI frameworks).</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to <strong>embed explainability, fairness, and accountability</strong> into AI workflows.</li> <li>Monitor and report on <strong>AI ethics, risk management, and governance practices</strong>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Program Management &amp; Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead compliance program<strong> policy development, requirements tracking, and reporting</strong> across privacy and AI.</li> <li><strong>Manage</strong> the privacy and AI-compliance operations team.</li> <li>Mature the <strong>training and awareness program</strong>.</li> <li>Collaborate with portfolio companies and external partners to <strong>harmonize compliance practices</strong>.</li> <li>Provide <strong>regular updates to program and business leadership</strong> on compliance program status, risks, and opportunities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>6+ years of program management experience</strong> in Privacy and AI compliance.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, ePrivacy)</strong>, <strong>AI regulatory trends</strong>, and <strong>cybersecurity frameworks</strong> (NIST, ISO, SOC 2).</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing <strong>cross-functional compliance programs</strong> in a technology-driven environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to <strong>translate regulatory requirements into business practices</strong>.</li> <li>Strong management, organizational, and project management skills.</li> <li>Certifications such as <strong>CIPP/US or E, CIPM, or AI governance credentials</strong>.</li> <li>Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of compliance programs across diverse teams.</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in <strong>ad tech, mar tech, or digital media</strong></li> <li>Familiarity with <strong>privacy and security-enhancing technologies</strong> (e.g., encryption, differential privacy, federated learning).</li> <li>Juris Doctor or European equivalent degree.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion at Momentum</strong></p> <p>At Momentum, our commitment to change for the better is reflected in our dedication to fostering a culture of belonging, inclusion, and diversity. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions.
