If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p>We’re hiring a <strong><strong class="textBold">Manager, Security Operations</strong></strong> to build and lead Nscale’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and own <strong><strong class="textBold">24x7 security monitoring and response operations</strong></strong>.</p> <p>This is a <strong><strong class="textBold">hands-on leadership role</strong></strong> that sits at the center of Nscale’s security function, combining team leadership with day-to-day operational excellence. You’ll lead SOC analysts responsible for detecting, triaging, and escalating security events across infrastructure, endpoints, and enterprise systems, while working closely with <strong><strong class="textBold">Detection &amp; Response, Incident Response, and Security Engineering</strong></strong>.</p> <p>You’ll play a key role in evolving how security operations works at Nscale by improving workflows, strengthening coverage, and advancing the use of <strong><strong class="textBold">automation and AI-driven detection and response</strong></strong>. This role matters because it helps ensure the SOC can scale effectively, respond decisively, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of security operations.</p> <p>This role will be part of the global CISO organization.</p> <h2>What you'll be doing</h2> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Build and lead the SOC</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Build</strong></strong> and scale a <strong><strong class="textBold">24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC)</strong></strong> for Nscale</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Manage</strong></strong> and develop a team of SOC analysts through hiring, training, and performance management</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Design</strong></strong> coverage models, including shift structures and on-call rotations</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Foster</strong></strong> a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and responsible use of AI in security operations</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Run security monitoring and incident workflows</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Own</strong></strong> alert monitoring, investigation, and escalation across infrastructure, endpoints, and enterprise systems</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Define</strong></strong> and enforce SOC processes for triage, escalation, and incident handling workflows</li> <li value="3"><strong><strong class="textBold">Act</strong></strong> as an escalation point for high-severity security events</li> <li value="4"><strong><strong class="textBold">Coordinate</strong></strong> smooth handoffs during major incidents in partnership with Incident Response</li> </ul> <p><strong><strong class="textBold">Improve detection quality and operational efficiency</strong></strong></p> <ul> <li value="1"><strong><strong class="textBold">Drive</strong></strong> adoption of AI and automation to improve alert triage, enrichment, and response workflows</li> <li value="2"><strong><strong class="textBold">Partner</strong></strong> with Detection &amp;
