About the role
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead, grow, mentor, and support one or more development teams, fostering both technical and professional development.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Architects to define team roadmaps, priorities, and measurable goals.
- Cultivate and strengthen a culture of inclusion and belonging through regular 1:1s, team interactions, and leadership practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support, Customer Success, Product Management, and Professional Services to align priorities and outcomes.
- Drive delivery against product roadmaps by ensuring high standards of quality, predictability, and execution.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, open feedback, and accountability.
- Manage team performance, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
- Support hiring efforts by attracting, interviewing, and onboarding top engineering talent.
- Identify and remove technical and organizational blockers to enable team productivity.
- Monitor team health, engagement, and capacity, taking proactive steps to maintain a sustainable pace.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Take on leadership role for cross team initiatives within product and technology department
- Drive the adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling to enhance engineering productivity, streamline workflows, and accelerate high-quality software delivery.
We'd Love to See
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- With 2+ years of experience managing and leading software development teams. (or operating in a similar leadership capacity)
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience delivering against SaaS product roadmaps and continuously improving software delivery practices.
- Strong track record in recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering talent.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile software development environments
- Solid technical background with the ability to guide architectural discussions and make informed technical decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong track record in mentoring engineers and leading effective project planning and execution
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies
- Experience leading BI and analytics initiatives, including overseeing the delivery of Power BI solutions in an enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of Power BI capabilities, including DAX and Power Query (M)
- Proven ability to define and drive BI, data, and analytics roadmaps aligned with business strategy and evolving industry trends
- Actively stays informed on advancements in Business Intelligence, cloud, DevOps, and AI, and incorporates relevant innovations into team direction and planning
- Familiarity with Azure cloud ecosystems and data platforms, with the ability to make strategic decisions around architecture, security, and compliance
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics and emerging capabilities within Power BI and the Microsoft ecosystem, with an ability to identify opportunities for business impact
