About the role
<p><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Harbor</strong> is seeking a <strong>Manager, Sourcing</strong> to join our growing team. As a part of Harbor’s BOS team, the Manager role pairs the experience and knowledge of the BOS department with internal operations and strategic needs to effectively deliver BOS solutions to our clients. </span> <span data-contrast="auto">These operational functions and strategic initiatives can include but are not limited to knowledge management, financial reporting and management, business intelligence and analysis, resource management, talent development and training, team empowerment, project management, process improvement, creating interdepartmental synergies, streamlining workflow, ensuring on time completion of deliverables, business development and intake support, and leading external department liaison (IT, Talent, Legal, Marketing, etc.).</span></p>
<p><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}">This is a full-time, remote, position that can be worked anywhere in the US (Eastern/Central time zone preferred).</span></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead and manage all aspects of client sourcing, including guiding internal resources, facilitating requirements, conducting data analysis and research, and implementing identified opportunities alongside client senior management, leveraging an end-to-end strategic sourcing process.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Design and execute strategy for contract negotiations including, but not limited to acquisitions, maintenance renewals, strategic cost optimization and terms/conditions improvements/standardizations</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Structure ill-defined problems, develop conceptual frameworks and analytical approaches, and create recommendations for client implementation.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Independently structure, write, and present well-organized and persuasive end work product to clients.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop new intellectual capital, including frameworks and analyses, to drive continuous improvement and innovation.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Lead specific operational functions and strategic initiatives within the department by creating and executing strategic plans and managing designated team members </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Identify potential risks and obstacles to achieving goals, as well as improvements to approach, process, project management/execution and identify possible solutions</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Manage and direct consultant team to consistently execute on high quality client goals, contracted deliverables, and/or target results and enhance strategic insight/application and additional subject matter expertise</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Effectively manage and track workstreams, engage stakeholders, provide project/program reporting</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Serve as a mentor and team player, fostering the development of consulting staff and contributing to a collaborative work environment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233279":false,"201341983":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">4-6+ years of relevant consulting experience </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":30,"335559739":30,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain or Management Information Systems required </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":30,"335559739":30,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">MBA and/or PMP (or similar certifications) preferred</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559738":30,"335559739":30,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong experience sourcing IT services, ai technologies, software/SaaS, cloud technologies, telecom, and enterprise technology solutions.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Deep expertise negotiating professional services agreements, consulting/MSA structures, SOWs, staffing contracts, and rate cards.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience within a consulting, professional services, or matrixed corporate environment preferred.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong analytical, financial modeling, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Familiarity with sourcing tools, spend analytics platforms, and procurement best practices.</li>
