<div class="content-intro">Are you ready to make an impact?</div>Our Mergers and Acquisitions Practice (M&A) is seeking a Senior Manager to join our growing team.  In this dynamic role, you will work with our national M&A practice servicing both corporate and private equity clients, which includes leading functional and technology assessments during the due diligence phase and planning as part of the carve-out or merger integration transactions.  Our M&A team includes a variety of seasoned, expert, and award-winning professionals.    You will be an integral part of our team, helping shape our office culture and participate in the entrepreneurial process of growing a team with triple digit growth (strategy formulation, recruiting, team building, practice development, etc.).  This individual should have demonstrated experience working in the M&A space with services-focused clients, including Consumer, Residential, or Industrial Services sectors such as:  <ul> <li>HVAC roll-ups </li> <li>Pest Control roll-ups </li> <li>Home Services roll-ups </li> <li>Electrical Engineering/Services (e.g., for Data Centers) </li> </ul> Senior Managers in our Mergers & Acquisitions practice have these primary responsibilities:   <ul> <li>Lead teams serving clients across the consumer & industrial products industry, with specific capabilities in mergers & acquisitions, technology, and manufacturing, while demonstrating executive presence with C-level client counterparts  </li> <li>Support Private Equity funds in buy side diligence, sell side diligence, mergers, carve-outs, and value creation & planning projects </li> <li>Assess functional and technology investment strategies and compare respective operating models and organizational structures against leading practices and industry benchmarks  </li> <li>Lead engagements teams on transaction advisory, guiding the team to prepare focused request lists and agenda, facilitating client reviews, and providing leadership over deliverables  </li> <li>Lead post-close value creation projects for PE clients and lead program management offices (PMOs) that can deliver digital transformation for portfolio companies </li> <li>Manage project economics including: track project budgets, create and deliver invoices, and manage collection process  </li> <li>Identify core findings and trends in data for project teams to quantifiably support recommendations across technology and operations </li> <li>Support storyline development for project teams – drawing together data analysis, visualizations, recommendations, and financial impacts into a cohesive deliverable </li> <li>Drive the development/enhancement of WMP’s M&A methodologies (diligence, planning, carve-out, etc.) and approaches to client delivery within the C&IP M&A team </li> <li>Support development of industry perspective pieces, in both written articles and research (primary and secondary) for the C&IP industry, specifically within manufacturing </li> <li>Coach and manage other consultants and actively participate in the performance review process  </li> <li>Understand client strategy and investment priorities and turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals  </li> <li>Initiate and lead business development meetings with prospective clients  </li> <li>Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects  </li> <li>Understand investment needs and requirements and help turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals  </li> <li>Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.</li> <li>Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.</li> </ul> Qualifications:   <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred </li> <li>Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue and risk management experience, change management, strategic planning and analysis  </li> <li>Prior M&A (deal and carve-out/merger) experience preferred, but not required </li> <li>High proficiency with Excel required </li> <li>Prior experience working with large and complex datasets preferred </li> <li>Prior experience working in industry specifically manufacturing & distribution, experience preferred but not required </li> <li>Experience managing or analyzing P&L statements, and financial modeling skills to build and manage complex synergy and cash flow models related to M&A transactions a plus, but not required </li> <li>Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
