Senior Managing Consultant - Lead, Digital, Data & Platforms Engine (Lagos)

As a leading professional services and advisory firm, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Managing Consultant to lead our Digital, Data & Platforms function.

This role sits at the intersection of digital transformation, data intelligence, workflow automation, and platform development. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the organisation’s digital delivery capabilities, embedding technology-enabled solutions across client engagements, and driving the development of scalable digital products, platforms, and intellectual property.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver with strong consulting experience, capable of translating business challenges into practical digital solutions while influencing senior stakeholders and leading high-impact transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Architecture

• Design and implement digital architecture frameworks that support business transformation and client delivery objectives.
• Establish standards for workflow design, data structures, system integration, reporting, and platform governance.
• Ensure technology, data, and automation considerations are embedded within major client engagements.
• Drive consistency and scalability across digital solutions and delivery approaches.

Workflow Automation & Digital Enablement

• Lead the design and deployment of workflow automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, templates, and tools that can be deployed across multiple engagements.
• Evaluate and implement low-code and no-code solutions where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through technology adoption.

Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Lead data and analytics workstreams across transformation, organisational development, and operational improvement projects.
• Design dashboards, performance measurement frameworks, and reporting solutions that support executive decision-making.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Promote data-driven approaches to performance management and strategic planning.

Platforms, Products & Innovation

• Drive the development and enhancement of proprietary digital platforms, tools, and intellectual property.
• Convert recurring consulting methodologies into scalable digital products and technology-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify commercial opportunities for platform and product growth.
• Support innovation initiatives that strengthen market competitiveness and client value creation.

Consulting Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Lead digital transformation engagements from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on digital roadmaps, technology enablement, and operational transformation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams across digital, analytics, and technology workstreams.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.
• Support capability development initiatives that strengthen organisational digital competencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in digital transformation, workflow automation, business intelligence, analytics, platform implementation, or technology-enabled consulting.
• Demonstrated experience delivering digital transformation initiatives within consulting, professional services, financial services, technology, or similarly complex environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, business intelligence tools, workflow automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital ecosystems.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise dashboards, analytics frameworks, and reporting solutions.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making at executive level.
• Strong project delivery, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and digital innovation trends is highly desirable.
