CULT is looking for a Managing Director.
We’re looking for a leader who thrives at the intersection of growth, operations, leadership, and creativity.
This is not a maintenance role.
It’s a building and scaling role.
We want someone hungry to help scale an ambitious agency with structure, accountability, operational rigor, and ambition — without sacrificing culture, creativity, or entrepreneurial energy along the way.
The role will partner directly with our founders to help drive agency growth, operational excellence, leadership alignment, and long-term scalability.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Operations
- Partner closely with the founders and senior leadership team to lead the agency and execute yearly goals
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the business
- Lead and support department heads across Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Project Delivery
- Help teams stay aligned, accountable, and moving in the same direction
- Improve how teams communicate, collaborate, and work together
- Help build a strong leadership culture across the agency
- Represent CULT with clients, partners, and industry relationships
Growth & Business
- Help drive revenue growth, profitability, and overall business performance
- Work closely with the CFO and leadership team on budgets, forecasting, and planning
- Help improve systems, processes, and operations as the agency grows
- Make smart decisions around tools, hiring, partnerships, and investments
- Keep a close eye on growth, performance, opportunities, and challenges across the business
Clients & Creative
- Help ensure great work gets delivered across every client engagement
- Support strong client relationships and long-term partnerships
- Work closely with creative and technology leaders to maintain high standards
- Help teams solve problems, remove roadblocks, and deliver strong outcomes
- Protect both the quality of the work and the health of the business
People & Culture
- Help protect and strengthen the culture as the agency grows
- Support hiring, team structure, and leadership development
- Create an environment where people can do their best work
- Bring clarity, accountability, and momentum to teams
- Help build a business people are proud to be part of

- Shareholder priorities and yearly goals are being executed and achieve,
core growth continues to come from CULT’s U.S. line of business - Agency revenue is growing consistently at 20–30% year-over-year
- Teams are aligned and working well together towards growth
- The agency is growing in a healthy, profitable way
- Clients are happy and relationships continue to grow
- Operations feel clear, organized, and scalable
- Leaders feel supported and accountable

Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of leadership experience within an agency environment
- Senior agency leader (SVP level or above) ready for the opportunity to help lead and shape a growing agency as if it were their own
- Former entrepreneur excited by growth, scaling businesses, and solving complex challenges in a new industry
- Strong business and financial understanding
- Comfortable leading people, making decisions, and driving accountability
- Able to balance sales and growth with structure, process, and execution
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and momentum
- Someone who leads with ownership, clarity, and follow-through
Compensation
