Staffing Sales & Account Manager
If you’re in Staffing (Sales or Recruiting) and not on a clear path to six figures, it’s time to change that.
At STL Staffing, this role is built for high performers who want to hunt, win, and grow. You’ll own the front end of the business — driving new client acquisition, building relationships, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships — while partnering with a strong delivery team to execute and scale accounts.
This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a revenue-driving, relationship-building position designed for someone who thrives on prospecting, closing, and growing business.
What You’ll Do
- Own new and growing business development — prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and building a strong pipeline of staffing opportunities
- Lead consultative conversations with hiring managers and decision-makers to uncover workforce needs and position STL as the solution
- Close new business and expand accounts by delivering a strong, repeatable client experience
- Partner closely with recruiting and operations to ensure execution aligns with client expectations and drives results
- Stay active in the market — understanding talent trends, competition, and opportunities to better serve your clients
- Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business, referrals, and account growth

- Consistent pipeline activity and new client acquisition
- Strong collaboration with recruiting to deliver on client needs
- Growing book of business with repeat and expanding accounts
- Hitting — and exceeding — revenue targets
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of success in staffing, business development, or a similar B2B sales role
- Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close deals
- True “hunter” mentality — someone who is driven by results, not activity alone
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust quickly
- Organized and process-driven, with experience using CRM/ATS tools
- Competitive, coachable, and motivated to continuously improve
Compensation & Growth
- Base salary: $50,000–$60,000
- Uncapped commission with a clear path to $100K+ in year one
- High performers can expect to earn an additional $10K–$20K+ annually as they build and expand their book of business
