Collect and validate ownership/contact info and enrich profiles with contextual notes (market signals, sale‑trigger indicators, competitive positioning)</li> <li>Monitor market and industry for consolidations, regulatory changes and owner‑operator trends to deepen expertise and identify opportunities</li> <li>Generate actionable deliverables: prioritized target lists, decision-maker maps, owner profiles and summaries to stakeholders</li> <li>Manage vendor/third‑party partnerships (e.g., databases, licensing) and research tools as required</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, market research, or related field</li> <li>3+ years of experience in market intelligence, competitive research, business development research, corporate development sourcing, or investment research</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build target pipelines, gather owner information, perform primary/secondary research and deliver actionable insights</li> <li>Strong business acumen: ability to understand a company’s business model, metrics, owner incentives, and market dynamics</li> <li>Excellent analytical, data‑synthesis and presentation skills. Ability to distill complex data into clear insights for stakeholders</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership and project management expertise. Experience managing a small team or leading cross‑functional collaboration preferred</li> <li>Strong proficiency with research databases, CRM/target‑tracking tools, MS Excel, LinkedIn / contact‑research tool</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Compensation </u></strong></p> <p>Competitive compensation consisting of base salary and an annual performance bonus</p>
