About the role

Job Summary 


The Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of regional and national marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for coordinating vehicle launch events, managing digital ad spend for new/used inventory, and ensuring brand consistency across showroom displays and online platforms. The ideal candidate understands the automotive buying cycle (awareness to test drive) and can manage the fast-paced demands of vehicle inventory changes.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign & Inventory Marketing


  • Coordinate monthly promotional campaigns for new, used, and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles based on current inventory levels and manufacturer incentives.
  • Manage the creation of vehicle-specific digital assets (videos, landing pages, social posts) for new model launches.
  • Work with sales teams to ensure "featured vehicles" are accurately reflected on the website, third-party sites and social media.
  • Develop, manage and optimise integrated campaigns including paid, owned and earned channels


Dealership & Event Coordination


  • Plan and execute in-person and virtual events (e.g., "Midnight Madness" sales events, Test Drive Days, Electric Vehicle (EV) education seminars).
  • Order and manage Point of Purchase (POP) materials, showroom signage, and window stickers.
  • Liaison between corporate marketing and individual dealerships to ensure local co-op advertising funds are utilized correctly.


 Digital & Social Media


  • Manage social media calendars (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) featuring inventory spotlights, behind-the-scenes service center content, and customer testimonials.
  • Monitor online reviews (Google) and coordinate responses with the customer service team.
  • Assist in SEO strategy for service department keywords (e.g., "oil change near me" or "brake repair").


Analytics & CRM


  • Track campaign performance (click-through rates, form fills, showroom visits) using Google Analytics and dealership CRM tools 
  • Generate monthly lead source reports to identify which marketing channels are selling the most cars.
  • Manage email drip campaigns for service appointment reminders and lease-end offers.


Creative & Production


  • Write copy for brochures, radio ads, direct mailers, and digital banners.
  • Coordinate with photographers/videographers to shoot high-quality vehicle walkarounds and 360-degree interior views.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising (or 2+ years equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience (automotive, retail, or agency experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign).
  • Experience with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).


Preferred (Automotive Specific):

  • Familiarity with Automotive CRM software
  • Understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) co-op advertising rules.


Key Competencies


  • Speed & Agility: Automotive inventory changes daily; you must update ads as soon as a car sells.
  • Attention to Detail: Must accurately list VINs, trims, and MSRP prices without errors.
  • Customer-Centric: Ability to write copy that addresses buyer anxiety (financing, reliability) and excitement (speed, safety).
  • Collaboration: Works well with high-pressure sales teams and service technicians.


Work Environment & Physical Demands


  • Standard office hours with occasional evening/weekend work for sales events.
  • Ability to walk large dealership lots to photograph vehicles (requires standing/walking for up to 2 hours).
  • May require driving to satellite dealership locations.
