About the role

At Westside Auto Wholesale, we attribute much of our success to the strength of our marketing team. The goal of the marketing coordinator is to develop and execute the plans and strategies to accomplish the goals of the marketing team. Day to day, he or she draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build relationships with sales teams, and otherwise support all marketing strategies. Often, he or she acts as the intermediary between company teams.

Objectives of the role.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Prepare marketing and lead activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
  • Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
  • Ensure all vehicles are updated with written comments as appropriate to their exact model and additional equipment.
  • Ensure the reviews and customer relationship are well managed and deal with in an orderly fashion.
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a credentials database for new employees, tracking capability, global contact directory, and intranet sites.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing team in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analysing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations and material, ordering branding material, staff photos, uniform management for staff and updating calendars.
  • Complete daily and monthly reporting for the sales, marketing and client contact teams.
  • Daily monitoring of budgets for social media campaigns, comment management and full content planning and execution.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and report on active campaigns.
  • Manage and respond to all reviews received to Westside Auto Wholesale escalating as required.
  • Manage ordering process for staff uniforms and business cards.
  • Review and manage invoice approval and reconciliation.
  • Support the Marketing Manager and Chief Digital Officer with tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
  • Experience with research using data analytics software.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and design and email software
  • Experience working with budgets and forecasting software.
  • Experience working with Google AdWords platform, Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics.
