About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Director to drive Pixlr Group’s global brand growth and strengthen its competitive positioning in creative technology. This role leads strategic marketing across brand, product marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), acquisition, retention, digital performance, partnerships, and team development.

The Job:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and implement a short-term, high-impact marketing strategy aligned with Pixlr Group’s business objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and insights to executive leadership to support business expansion.

2. Brand & Market Positioning

  • Strengthen global brand presence and position Pixlr Group as a creative technology leader.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels, aligned with the needs of content creators and software users.

3. Product Marketing & GTM Strategy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft go-to-market strategies for new products.
  • Define product positioning for different user segments to establish competitive differentiation.

4. Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Design and implement data-driven marketing campaigns focused on acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Utilise performance analytics to optimise campaign ROI and audience targeting.

5. Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Oversee SEO, SEM, content strategy, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and paid social campaigns.
  • Ensure marketing activities support SaaS business growth.

6. Partnerships & External Collaboration

  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships to extend Pixlr Group’s reach.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to enhance campaign performance.

7. Budget & Resource Allocation

Manage and optimise the marketing budget to support strategic initiatives and maximise ROI.

8. Team Leadership & Knowledge Transfer

  • Mentor and support the marketing team to foster a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish a clear transition roadmap to ensure sustainability of marketing operations.

Requirements

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field; MBA or other advanced degrees are an advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the software, technology, or creative industries.
  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership roles, with success in leading marketing strategies and growth hack for SaaS, cloud-based platforms, or digital products.
  • Experience with global brand management, particularly in the creative tech or software industries, is an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and collaborate with C-level executives.
