Job title: Marketing Officer

Job purpose
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the company's email and printed mail marketing strategy while maintaining LINC’s brand and mission. Build and grow LINC’s brand through digital design to be used in emails, social media posts, printed material and website design. Assist in managing LINC’s presence and voice on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn through original content and engagment.
Duties and responsibilities
Email/Printed Material Marketing
- Work closely with LINC team to manage and build a marketing strategy for emails and printed mail.
- Communicate with all volunteers to build relevant and engaging email content, create artwork and designs for printed material
- Design, create and schedule content for:
- Newsletters
- Campaigns and Events
- End of Year Giving
- Impact Reports
- Donor Stewardship Plan
- LINC letterheads, brochures, and promotional materials
- Collaborate with CEO to ensure designs align with the brand image and maintain consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
- Work with Web Developer to oversee the implementation of new content and design on our website
- Learn and utilize email features in our CRM.
- Work closely with Account Manager to ensure donors’ contact information and audience labels are current prior to sending emails or mailed items.
- Maintain Printed Mail Only list and communicate directly with third party printer.
- Develop and present email marketing reports to Board of Directors quarterly.
- Review engagements, clicks, donations, unsubscribed, etc.

- Utilize Google Calendar and CRM to communicate with LINC team for strategic planning and scheduling of all marketing efforts.
Social Media: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Collaborate with marketing contractor to design, implement, approve social media strategy to align with business goals and ensure brand consistency
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Review platform analytics and use results to improve marketing strategy
- Develop an optimal posting schedule considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Optimize hashtags
- Provide monthly analytic review on post engagements, shares, followers, etc.
- Generate creative, engaging content (text, image and video) a minimum of once a week on all three platforms (when we do not have a social media contractor in place)
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor reviews
- Engage in followers posts - comment/re-share posts while maintaining our brand and LINC’s voice
- Manage and keep each platform profile’s design and content up-to-date (i.e. timeline cover, profile pictures and information)
- Work with Account Manager to connect with past and current donors and volunteers on social media platforms
- Collaborate with Corporate Partnership Officer to connect with organizations and companies who have similar mission, values, goals as Linc Worldwide
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, multitasking, creative and analytical skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time-management skills, exceptional organizational and technical skills
- Proven work experience in social media marketing, content management, digital design, and/or email marketing strategy.
- A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research and latest digital marketing trends
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on LINC’s success
- Ability to learn new marketing platforms (CRM)
- Solid knowledge of design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Subject to background check
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or similar field
- Proven work experience with social media platforms, similar marketing platforms, and/or digital design role
- Solid experience coordinating successful marketing campaigns
- Technology skills
- Content Writing/Graphic Design experience
- Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
Working Conditions
- Willingness to put in more working hours, even at odd times. Minimal travel required.
