About the role

IBMC is hiring for our client in the international FMCG and Food Ingredients Manufacturing industry. Known globally for delivering innovative solutions and high-quality ingredients, the company specializes in premium components for the baking, confectionery, and food processing sectors. To accelerate their market penetration across regional commercial bakeries and food industries, they are looking for an experienced technical commercial professional.

We are seeking an energetic and numbers-driven Marketing & Sales Specialist to join our team in Surabaya. Based on interview evaluations, this position is open for Staff or Senior Staff levels. The role focuses heavily on cross-territory business development, pipeline sourcing, and relationship preservation across East Java and Bali. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Client Acquisition: Prospect, pitch, and secure new business accounts while traveling extensively across East Java and Bali.
  • Strategic Business Development: Implement tailored sales metrics, commercial principles, and marketing strategies to grow brand share within local food systems.
  • Account Optimization: Manage accounts with high interpersonal care, ensuring clear communications, solving stakeholder bottlenecks, and identifying cross-selling avenues.
  • Market Analytics: Utilize strong analytical abilities to interpret market trends, competitor footprints, and customer feedback data.
  • Administrative Governance: Maintain high computer literacy, manage day-to-day data updates on Microsoft Office, and align workflows with internal compliance rules.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, with a strong preference for backgrounds within the Food Industry.
  • Skill Synergy: Thorough comprehension of sales fundamentals, marketing structures, and modern business development tactics.
  • Language Fluency: Good command of English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Network & Mobility: Existing sales network in East Java and Bali is preferred. Must possess a valid SIM A and maintain a proactive willingness to travel frequently.
  • Soft Skills: Active learner, excellent problem-solving capacity, and outstanding relationship-building traits.

Benefits

  • Basic Salary: IDR 7,200,000 – IDR 8,600,000 per month (Determined by experience and interview ranking).
  • Allowances: Transportation, Communication, and Meal Allowance.
  • Mobility Support: Personal Vehicle Compensation if using your own car for official field operations.
  • Health & Security: BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and full Medical Claims (Inpatient & Outpatient) covering the employee and immediate family (prorated in Year 1, fully available post 1-year service).
  • Tax Protection: Income Tax (PPh 21) is fully borne/paid by the Company.
  • Yearly Bonus: THR (Religious Holiday Allowance) equivalent to 1 month’s salary (prorated where applicable).
