About the role
- Work on the restoration and preservation of historic masonry and stone structures
- Perform repointing and repair of aging masonry systems
- Work with lime-based mortars and specialty restoration materials
- Contribute to federal, military, and historic preservation projects
- Hands-on craftsmanship on long-lasting, visible structures
- Experience in repointing or masonry repair (historic mortar experience is a plus—we will train the right candidates)
- Carpentry, metal work, roofing skills are a plus
- Historic mortar experience is not required—we provide full training in restoration techniques.
- $20-$40/hr. based on experience and skill progression
- Pay increases based on performance
- Paid in house and on the job training.
- Paid Safety and OSHA Compliance Training.
- Uncapped Over Time and Work through the Winter.
- Health, Vision, Dental Insurance and 401(k) after 90 days.
- Quarterly bonuses for perfect attendance, Saturdays worked and days worked out of town.
