
About the role
ISS International SpA is looking for a Material Engineer for an FPSO project at a shipyard in Shanghai, China.
The position is related to a major FPSO conversion / integration project for an offshore development in West Africa, with activities carried out during the yard construction, completion and commissioning phases.
The Material Engineer will support the project team in material control, verification and traceability, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards and technical documentation.
Main activities will include reviewing material certificates and technical documents, supporting material receiving and inspection activities, coordinating with engineering, construction, QA/QC and procurement teams, and following up on material availability and compliance during yard execution.
Previous experience in Oil & Gas, offshore projects, FPSO / shipyard environments, material control, QA/QC or mechanical / piping materials will be considered a strong advantage.
You’ll be under contract with our Company ISS International SpA.
