Material Testing Technician

<p data-start="152" data-end="461">Civil Science is currently seeking a qualified&nbsp;<strong data-start="199" data-end="231">Materials Testing Technician</strong> to join our team supporting roadway and transportation construction projects throughout western North Dakota. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and success of our construction materials and roadway projects.&nbsp;This is a <strong data-start="566" data-end="618">seasonal / temporary position </strong>based out of our&nbsp;<strong data-start="667" data-end="705">Williston or Dickinson, ND offices.</strong></p> <h3 data-section-id="1j5ac4d" data-start="809" data-end="827">What You’ll Do</h3> <ul data-start="828" data-end="1229"> <li data-section-id="ey8ca4" data-start="828" data-end="899">Perform construction materials testing in the field and/or laboratory</li> <li data-section-id="1oilos0" data-start="900" data-end="969">Inspect and test soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete materials</li> <li data-section-id="fgjjpq" data-start="970" data-end="1020">Document and communicate test results accurately</li> <li data-section-id="3yqaqm" data-start="1021" data-end="1079">Support roadway and transportation construction projects</li> <li data-section-id="wcfk3i" data-start="1080" data-end="1160">Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and engineering staff</li> <li data-section-id="12gvlft" data-start="1161" data-end="1229">Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="12f3so4" data-start="1231" data-end="1249">Qualifications</h3> <ul data-start="1250" data-end="1479"> <li data-section-id="1mm57ue" data-start="1250" data-end="1337">Prior experience with construction materials testing in either a field or lab setting</li> <li data-section-id="etyhjh" data-start="1338" data-end="1382">Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds</li> <li data-section-id="1n9cwj5" data-start="1383" data-end="1407">Valid driver’s license</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="fktgjl" data-start="1481" data-end="1509">Preferred Qualifications</h3> <p data-start="1510" data-end="1554">Preference will be given to candidates with:</p> <ul data-start="1555" data-end="1796"> <li data-section-id="18hs1z8" data-start="1555" data-end="1582">ACI Level I Certification</li> <li data-section-id="1ut1fe8" data-start="1583" data-end="1748">Highway testing experience and certifications such as: <ul data-start="1642" data-end="1748"> <li data-section-id="fl6x1d" data-start="1642" data-end="1662">Soils Field Tester</li> <li data-section-id="hpkisd" data-start="1665" data-end="1684">Aggregate Sampler</li> <li data-section-id="3xbz1c" data-start="1687" data-end="1715">Asphalt Pavement Inspector</li> <li data-section-id="l219u0" data-start="1718" data-end="1748">Other related certifications</li> </ul> </li> <li data-section-id="45egxg" data-start="1749" data-end="1796">Previous experience working on NDDOT projects</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Why Join Civil Science?</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><strong>Ownership in Your Future:</strong> At Civil Science, we’re proud to be a 100% employee-owned firm.
