Materials Management & Warehouse Lead

<p><strong>Job Location:</strong> Springer Mine &amp; Milling Complex, Imlay, Nevada, United States</p> <p><strong>Type:&nbsp;</strong>In person at the job location</p> <p><strong>Duration:</strong>&nbsp; Full time</p> <p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Supply Chain Manager - US</p> <p><strong>Purpose</strong><br>The role requires a structured and execution-focused professional who will establish and lead the materials management and warehouse function for the project. The position is central to ensuring that all materials—from long-lead equipment to commissioning and operational spares—are planned, received, stored, controlled, and handed over in a manner supporting schedule, cost control, and operational readiness. The role will also be instrumental in establishing SAP-based materials management processes and ensuring a seamless transition from project to operations.</p> <p><strong>Scope &amp; Accountability</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Define and implement the Project Materials Management Plan<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Follow approved Blue Moon policies, processes &amp; procedures<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Establish material flow concepts from supplier through to installation<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Define strategies for free-issued, contractor-supplied, bulk and tagged materials<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Set and enforce preservation and material handling standards<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead materials master data standards and governance in SAP<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure alignment between engineering BOMs, procurement data and warehouse structures<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support SAP configuration and operational readiness for materials management<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinate with procurement and expediting to align deliveries with site readiness<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Track long-lead and critical materials against construction and commissioning priorities<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Mitigate risks related to delayed, early, or non-compliant deliveries<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Define receiving, inspection and QA/QC interfaces<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Design and implement warehouse, laydown and inventory management concepts<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure inventory control, traceability and accuracy in SAP<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Support material issuance to construction and commissioning<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage reconciliation at mechanical completion and system handover<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Classify and hand over spares to Operations<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage surplus, obsolete and excess materials<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Submit materials management and warehouse reports as defined by the company.</p> <p><strong>Authorities</strong><br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Own and enforce materials management and warehouse processes and standards<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Stop or reject receipt, storage or issuance of non-compliant materials<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Govern materials master data and inventory control in SAP<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Approve warehouse structures, storage concepts and material handling practices<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Escalate and mitigate material-related risks impacting schedule, cost or quality<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Direct priorities for material availability aligned with construction and commissioning needs<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Initiate corrective actions related to materials handling, storage or data integrity<br>• &nbsp; &nbsp;Approve deviations from materials management procedures within authority limits.</p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years' related experience in supply chain, procurement and logistics</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Interfaces</strong><br>Engineering, Project Controls, Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC, SAP Implementation Team, and Operations.</p> <p><strong>Pay Range and Compensation Package</strong></p> <p>Compensation and benefits details will be discussed during the interview process.</p> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement</strong></p> <p>We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
