Maths Teacher Required for Secondary School in Lambeth
About the Role:
A highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students in KS3 and KS4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced Maths Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the Maths department.
- Maintain a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering student achievement and well-being.
