About the role
Job Summary
Responsible for mandatory routine maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment to ensure operational readiness. This role does not perform major repairs and must strictly adhere to preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
Mandatory Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled inspections and routine maintenance as assigned
- Clean, lubricate, tighten, and adjust equipment components as required
- Ensure equipment is safe and operational at all times
- Identify and report defects, wear, or abnormal conditions immediately
- Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records
- Follow all safety rules, SOPs, and manufacturer guidelines
- Coordinate with authorized personnel for any repair beyond routine maintenance
Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ Years of work experience
- ITI / Diploma / vocational training in Mechanical or related field
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with company policies
Restrictions
- No major repairs, overhauls, or complex fault diagnosis permitted
