This role works in a designated area of the production line and relies on a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions. The Mechanical Assembler reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure all assemblies meet required specifications. The position also involves working with electrical components, including circuit breakers and electrical cabinets, and using a variety of handheld tools such as drills and screwdrivers.</p> <p><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications</li> <li>Perform this work in a specific area of a production line in our prefabrication shop</li> <li>Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications</li> <li>Work with electrical components like circuit breakers and electrical cabinet utilizing handheld tools like drills and screwdrivers.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.</em></p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p> <p><strong>Required: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Have a passion for working with your hands and solving problems</li> <li>Possess demonstrated mechanical ability</li> <li>Be able to read blueprints and work orders</li> <li>Be able to read/use a tape measure</li> <li>Possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills as well as a normal range of hearing and vision&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
