Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the mechanical design process from concept through production, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fluid flow calculations.
• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals for mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery and problem resolution.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff in their development and project contributions.
• Participate in design reviews and projects meetings, presenting design concepts and updates to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering technologies and industry trends to enhance design capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 18 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Strong expertise in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Proven track record of managing mechanical design projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred but not required.
