About the role
We are seeking an experienced Component Responsible Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of non-moving engine components for next-generation heavy-duty vehicles. As part of the Base Engine department, you will work cross-functionally and contribute to developing world-class combustion engines for sustainable transport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery and maintenance of assigned components, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Drive activities for harmonizing component solutions, aligned with system roadmaps.
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, quality teams, and suppliers to optimize design and development.
- Contribute proactively to technical roadmaps with innovative solutions and ideas.
Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in designing casted components in metal or plastic.
- Proficient in Creo; experience working cross-functionally as a component responsible.
- Strong technical interest and a collaborative approach to developing integrated component solutions.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
