Own and update Design Failure Mode &amp; Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan &amp; Report (DVPR), and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met. Conduct Computer Aided Design (CAD) modeling (Catia / NX) and template set-up &amp; maintenance using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Early Computer Aided Design (CAD) creation and development prior to supplier award &amp; onboarding. Generate CAD and 2D drawings for components including GD&amp;T. Identify inlines and eyelets that are readily available. Develop and release BDU and related component designs that satisfy vehicle level.
