Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development of our next generation hardware, taking ownership of the mechanical design of complex, multidisciplinary electronic products from initial concept through mass production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design of multidisciplinary electronic products from early stage concepts to mass production.

Collaborate closely with electrical engineering and PCB layout teams to integrate PCB and PCBA design constraints and optimize heat dissipation.

Design parts and assemblies for optimal manufacturability across various production methods, including injection molding, die casting, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication.

Build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes with a proactive, hands on approach.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. M.Sc. is an advantage.

Experience
5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer in an R&D environment.

Domain Expertise
Strong background in designing complex, multidisciplinary electronic products.

CAD Proficiency
Deep, practical, and advanced knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Manufacturing Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding of various production techniques, specifically plastic injection molding, die casting, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication.

Electronics Integration
Direct experience working with PCB and PCBA design constraints and heat dissipation techniques.

Mindset and Soft Skills
High level of creativity combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands on experience with simulation tools, particularly for thermal and structural analysis.
