CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in construction/engineering, or an appropriate field. A combination of education and trade-work experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in mechanical estimating 
  
• Knowledge of building mechanical systems (HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing) 
• Emotional intelligence & good stress management, maintains the ability to work under pressure
• Excellence in written and oral communication
• Time management & the ability to adhere to deadlines
  
• Knowledge of BC Building Code and ASHRAE Standards
• Team Player & Motivated to work alone
• Maintains the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Capable of reading and understanding blue prints (mechanical) 
  

 

CANDIDATE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Mechanical plan & drawing aptitude
• Procurement & Bid Portal management/submission
• Safety Certification & Training  
• BlueBeam, Adobe Acrobat, Procore 
• Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Progress & draw payment experience a plus
