Remote VA is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Biller for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for processing medical claims, submitting invoices to insurance providers, following up on unpaid claims, and ensuring accurate billing procedures. This remote position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with medical billing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and submit medical claims to insurance companies
• Review patient records to verify insurance details and billing information
• Follow up on denied or unpaid claims and resubmit as needed
• Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing codes and regulations
• Prepare and submit billing reports and summaries to management
• Utilize tools such as ClickUp, Google Suite, and medical billing software for workflow management

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven medical billing experience
• Familiarity with medical billing software and platforms such as Trizetto Simple Claim
• Proficient with Google Suite and ClickUp
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication abilities for interacting with clients and insurance providers
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)
