Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Medical Dosimetrist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Seattle VA Medical Center located at 1660 South Columbian Way. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Responsibilities
- Perform dosimetry functions under MDCB certification
- Receive direction from VA Radiation Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
- Design treatment plans (SRS/SRT, HyperArc, IMRT, SBRT, 2D/3D, IGRT)
- Assist with simulations and tumor localization (CT, MRI, PET-CT fusions)
- Oversee fabrication of beam-modifying and immobilization devices
- Implement treatment plans and verify correct use of devices
- Perform and document dosimetric calculations
- Support Medical Physicist in QA, calibration, and radiation protection
- MDCB certification
- Minimum 2 years of continuous recent experience
- Experience required:
- 2 years: QA procedures documentation
- 1 year: ACR/APEX certified healthcare system
- 1 year: Varian TrueBeam with Rapid Arc
- 1 year: IGRT with Cone Beam CT (TG-142 standards)
- 3 years: Eclipse planning system, ARIA system (SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT modalities)
- 3 years: GE CT Simulator (or equivalent)

All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
