Medical Language Editor (Work-from-Home | Subcontractor)

We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Medical Language Editors (MLEs) to join our growing team on a subcontractor basis. If you have a strong background in medical transcription or documentation and a keen eye for accuracy, this is a great opportunity to work remotely with a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread medical documents for grammar, punctuation, and British English terminology
• Ensure accuracy of medical terms, diagnoses, procedures, and medications (minimum 98.5% accuracy)
• Review documents for clarity, completeness, and consistency before submission
• Meet productivity targets and turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards
• Adhere to strict data privacy and confidentiality requirements
• Clarify unclear dictations and resolve discrepancies through effective communication
• Conduct research to verify medical terminology and abbreviations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous training
• Collaborate with team members, auditors, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, or Communication Arts
• At least 2 years’ experience in medical transcription, editing, QA, or related field
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (British English preferred)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
• Tech-savvy and familiar with Microsoft applications and cloud-based tools
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• BIR-registered with the ability to issue official receipts is an advantage
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Computer with at least i3 processor (or equivalent) and 8GB RAM
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps)
• Noise-cancelling headset and webcam

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Shifts available:
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Philippine time)
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
