Our people come from every corner of science, medicine, marketing, and communications, partnering with clients—and connecting with each other— to achieve meaningful change through better, more innovative communications.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p>As a Medical Writer, you will play a key role in developing high-quality scientific content and creative communication materials that support clients’ medical and promotional objectives. Working closely with creative and accounts teams, you will contribute to the creation of impactful campaigns, from research and strategy through to final delivery.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Contribute to medical and publication strategies, aligning outputs with client goals and industry standards.</li> <li>Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to inform strategy and identify opportunities.</li> <li>Perform bibliographic background research to support content development.</li> <li>Write, edit, and adapt scientific materials including slide decks, monographs, abstracts, posters, patient information documents, and other formats, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to guidelines.</li> <li>Manage and provide complete reference sets using Veeva</li> <li>Incorporate all client feedback accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining consistency across deliverables.</li> <li>Manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support content creation and approval processes.</li> <li>Attend internal and client meetings to align on objectives, provide updates, and gather input for deliverables.</li> <li>Deliver internal scientific training sessions to enhance team knowledge in different scientific disciplines.</li> <li>Maintain and organize the reference management database for easy access and compliance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have a health science degree (e.g. in biology, pharmacy or medicine). PhD is a plus</li> <li>2 years of experience in medical writing and scientific content reviewing in marketing and advertising contexts.</li> <li>Ability to communicate medical/technical information to a wide variety of audiences</li> <li>Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment</li> <li>Attention to detail and absolute reliability in meeting delivery deadlines</li> <li>Team player who can foster positive relationships between the department and other agency teams, such as creatives and account managers</li> <li>Experience with reference managers such as EndNote is a plus</li> </ul> <p>#LI-EP1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span data-teams="true"><em>Omnicom Health is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
