<p>The role will report into the Head of Product on the MP Activewear Clothing and will involve working closely with the design team, merchandisers and garment technologists to oversee and deliver high quality product and drive the brand ambition forward.</p>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">As a Menswear Buyer You'll:</span></strong></p>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for the menswear category with an assistant buyer. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Driving the ambition of the brand by looking at growth opportunities and clearly understand product trend and opportunities. Influencing strategic plans and developments.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Working with design to develop and deliver core and seasonal ranges, clear understanding of the customer and the markets. Ability to interpret trend for sportswear. Overseeing range frameworks in all commercial aspects.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Clear vision on supplier strategy and drive the supply base forward working closely with the sourcing team. Ensuring you are working to a true partnership that will develop best results with suppliers. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Driving margin improvements within the category. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responding to competitor analysis and reviewing competitors in different global markets.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Working with merchandising team to plan, manage and challenge the buy and profit targets at all times. Reviewing trading action plans.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Drive product quality, fit and customer metrics delivering solutions and new innovation working closely with garment tech and quality team. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Working collaboratively on sustainability across areas of product development.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Buyer / Junior Buyer with experience in Sportswear product.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Proven track record of managing and mentoring teams.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Commercial awareness of sportswear market.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Financial and analytical ability, ability to review and react to performance.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience of Far East and European travel and sourcing from various locations.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
