Mental Health Professional (Master’s Level)

Location: Lewisburg, PA
Job Type: Full-Time (In-person)
Pay: $25.30 – $30.30 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Holidays Off)


Overview

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a talented and compassionate Mental Health Professional to support children, adolescents, and families in a structured therapeutic setting.

Position Summary

The Mental Health Professional is responsible for delivering therapeutic services, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting positive outcomes for youth. This role collaborates closely with treatment teams, referral sources, and families to provide effective, evidence-based care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counseling sessions to assigned youth
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document clinical services through progress notes and reports
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources and multidisciplinary team members
  • Support a structured and therapeutic environment for clients
  • Participate in treatment planning and team collaboration
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Contribute to overall program goals and client progress


Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth
  • At least 2 years of experience in adolescent behavioral health or related setting
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience working with children and adolescents
  • Experience in residential or trauma-informed care settings


Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to obtain required PA clearances (Act 33, Criminal History, FBI Act 73)
  • Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management training
  • Valid driver’s license

Work Location

This is an in-person position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the assigned program location.
