The Merchandise Intern will be gaining real-world experience with responsibilities within the organization. They will receive the opportunity to learn and observe how a professional sports organization operates and gain valuable skills in communication, fan experience, and sports-based merchandise sales. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>General Responsibilities</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with inventory, pricing, and stocking</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with fulfilling online orders</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist the marketing team with lifestyle photoshoots, as needed</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist the marketing team with social media needs</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Work Frederick Keys home games and events as directed by the Merchandise Manager</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Gain experience laying out a team store to promote sales </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Gain knowledge about merchandise purchasing based on market, gaps in collections, and inventory needs.</li> </ul>   <div> </div> <div>Game Day Responsibilities</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with preparation of the merchandise store for game day</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist in working the merchandise store, as needed</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with back filling store throughout the game</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with closing the store after the game</li> </ul>     <div>Qualifications</div>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">College sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for academic credit in Sport Management, Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or similar. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Ability to work event nights, weekends, and holidays as required</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Proficient in using point of sale systems or a quick learner</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> </ul>      <div class="content-conclusion">Attain Sports is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
