About the role

Centrobill is a global fintech company with over 13 years of industry experience, helping merchants accept payments through credit cards, debit cards, and alternative payment methods. We operate with an international team and a results-oriented environment focused on innovation, growth, and long-term partnerships.  

We're looking for a motivated specialist who wants to build a career in payments and grow into a Merchant Support role - becoming the go-to person for our clients on everything related to payment processing and account management.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with 1+ years of experience who want to grow their career, expand expertise, and gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing fintech industry.

Requirements for the candidate:

  • Experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce
  • Strong analytical, pattern recognition and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of card payments workflow and 3D Secure
  • Basic understanding of APIs, HTTP requests, JSON, and web technologies
  • English (to email with clients, read and interpret technical documentation)
  • Manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems individually
  • Adaptability to new patterns, quick-learner
  • Comfortable working with SLAs/ticketing systems such as Jira.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with log analysis tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch Logs Insights, Elasticsearch, Kibana)
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)

What Merchant support specialist does:

  • Onboard new clients and helps them integrate our API & launch payment methods
  • Investigate client-reported incidents & assist with questions via ticketing system
  • Use internal tools, logs, and monitoring systems (AWS CloudWatch Logs Insights, Kibana/Elasticsearch)
  • Work closely with our Development, Payments Operations, Sales teams to resolve merchant issues
  • Escalate requests to appropriate teams and facilitate/track them through resolution
  • Contribute to internal documentation
