Mid-Senior Java Engineer

We're looking for a Java Developer to join our Game Dev Team — someone who thrives on ownership, excels at clean architecture, and is ready to help us raise the bar.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of core systems in our mobile games, ensuring smooth, performant experiences for players.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other engineers to bring innovative features to life.
• Set standards for code quality, architecture, and performance; review and mentor other developers.
• Push boundaries of Java-based UIs, implement scalable frontend logic, and contribute to UI/UX tooling and pipelines.
• Analyze bottlenecks, propose improvements, and actively contribute to team architecture discussions.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2 years focused on frontend or client-facing systems.
• Software architecture
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior developers.
• Strong grasp of performance optimization, debugging, and profiling techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
• Passion for creating exceptional user interfaces and a deep appreciation for player experience.
  
  

 Nice-to-Have

• Experience with game UI systems or building UIs in libGDX, OpenGL, or similar.
• Familiarity with mobile game development or client/server architectures in games.
• Experience working with animations, transitions, and interactive UI components.
• Exposure to Unity or Unreal frontend workflows is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for games — especially the ones we build.
