Mill Planner

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mill Planner to be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access to ensure the effective scheduling of planned maintenance activities within the mill.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handle long- and short-range planning.

• Maintain bill of materials (BOM) information for every asset within area of responsibility.

• Scope work and record decisions on Work Planning Checklist

• Determine the appropriate level of planning for each new work request/work order.

• Maintain good communication with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure adequate planning

The ideal candidate will have:

• Higher Secondary Diploma (NATIN/AMTO) (WTB) Mechanical

• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferable in maintenance

• Industrial Mechanical & Electrical system or equipment installation and maintenance    

• Experience with earthmoving equipment

• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment drawings, predictive maintenance

• Willingness to work at our Brokopondo mine site on a rotational schedule (14/5 days on, 7/2 days off)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English

If selected, you will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (“Bewijs van Goedgedrag”). Please initiate the request at your respective District Commissariat.
