To maintain and repair the mobile equipment on site. Maintain and further develop mechanical PM program.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for all mobile equipment (forklifts, yard trucks, trailers and other items with maintenance requirements.
- Inspect, diagnose, repair and adjust equipment.
- Resolve repair issues regarding equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain current mechancial PM schedule for all equipment.
- Work with forklift service companies to assure they are providing the services requested and confirm the repairs are completed.
Qualifications
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Understand mechanical systems
- Read electrical schematics
- Self-motivated
- Positive attitude
- Attention to detail and precision
- Trouble shooting and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to pass mechanical test
