<h3><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead daily operations and long-term planning to ensure a thriving Montessori environment</li>
<li>Uphold and model Montessori philosophy with fidelity across classrooms</li>
<li>Mentor and coach guides and assistants with positivity, accountability, and purpose</li>
<li>Oversee Montessori curriculum integrity alongside state licensing requirements</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with all state childcare licensing regulations</li>
<li>Build warm, trusting relationships with families through clear and consistent communication</li>
<li>Manage staff performance, scheduling, and professional development</li>
<li>Oversee budget, enrollment, and facility operations</li>
<li>Ensure a safe, peaceful, and inclusive learning environment grounded in respect</li>
<li>Foster a joyful, child-centered culture where independence and curiosity flourish</li>

<h3><strong>What Makes You a Great Fit:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>21+ years old and meet Georgia Director qualifications</li>
<li>Montessori Certification: A teaching credential from an accredited institution such as AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) or AMS (American Montessori Society) required.</li>
<li>Montessori Administrator Credential: Specific certification in Montessori Leadership or Administration (e.g., from Seton Montessori Institute or AMS) preferred.</li>
<li>Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is standard; master's degree preferred.</li>
<li>Experience: A minimum of 3 years of classroom experience as a Montessori guide and 1–3 years of administrative experience (e.g., as an assistant director or head teacher).</li>
<li><strong>Understanding:</strong> Strong comprehension of Montessori philosophy and classroom practice.</li>
<li>State Licensing: The director must meet all state-specific DHS/OCDEL regulations for childcare center directors.</li>
<li>Leadership Skills: Demonstrated skills in staff management, budget oversight, communication with parents, and facility management.</li>
<li><strong>Leadership approach:</strong> A calm, reflective, and collaborative approach to leadership.</li>
<li><strong>Communication skills:</strong> Excellent communication and team leadership skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday</li>
<li>Reliable transportation to 570 Research Dr., Athens, GA 30605</li>
