<p>Lendz Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Closing Specialist to join our growing operations team. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth and compliant loan closing process, supporting both first and second mortgage transactions across our Non-QM product suite.</p>
<p>You’ll be responsible for managing loan files from clear-to-close through funding, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, timely closings. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and takes pride in precision, communication, and execution.</p>
<p>This is a fully remote position within a distributed team environment.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the closing and funding process for assigned mortgage loan files, including first and second liens</li>
<li>Review loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company,</li>
<li>investor, and regulatory guidelines</li>
<li>Prepare and review closing documents, including Loan Estimates (LE), Closing</li>
<li>Disclosures (CD), redisclosures, notes, and security instruments</li>
<li>Coordinate with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, lenders, and internal teams to facilitate a seamless closing process</li>
<li>Ensure all closing conditions are cleared prior to funding</li>
<li>Partner with title companies to resolve title issues and ensure clear closing conditions</li>
<li>Verify loan terms and documentation comply with applicable federal and state regulations</li>
<li>Collaborate with Account Managers and Underwriters to address and resolve file-level issues</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and organized records of all loan transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Monitor pipeline to meet closing timelines and service level expectations (SLAs)</li>
<li>Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to closing and disclosures</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years of mortgage closing experience required, including first and/or second liens</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, closing processes, and loan documentation</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently</li>
<li>Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
