General Requirements
- Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day.
- Required to be available during the off-season for snow operations as needed.
- Must adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines.
- Specific job responsibilities are included as guidelines and can be expanded to include other duties as needed at the discretion of Green View managers at any time.
Position Specific Requirements
- Perform pre-operation inspections on push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, stand-on mowers, and zero-turn mowers to ensure safe operation.
- Operate push mowers, string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, stand-on mowers, and zero-turn mowers efficiently and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain knowledge of cutting heights and mowing patterns that optimize turf health for various grass species.
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance, including blade sharpening, greasing, belt replacements, oil changes, and air filter cleaning.
- Identify and correct mowing-related issues such as scalping, uneven cuts, or turf stress.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company operating procedures.
- Meet or surpass company benchmarks for productivity, time on site, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
