Scope of Work:
A member of our ISK faculty is someone who thrives on lifelong learning and professional growth as an educator. They are team-oriented visionaries looking to ensure the success of each student through the ISK Mission, Vision and Educational Aims. Our teachers work closely in collaborative partnerships (with faculty, students, families and the community) to design educational experiences that are experiential, integrated and personalized. They are someone who knows how to create unique ways to engage in learning through Passion, Creativity, and Ambition. They empower students to develop their own competencies, skills and dispositions to actively learn, create, solve and engage in our world. They work within a team to create experiences that engage students in deeper learning and develop 21st century literacies through projects, problems and conceptual inquiry. An ISK teacher designs and facilitates equitable learning environments that promote inclusion and well-being for a community of learners. We strive to employ a faculty that is globally minded and diverse in order to connect with others across ISK and beyond. We listen to the stories of our community, discuss ideas, research innovative initiatives, and synthesize learning into an actionable vision that brings ISK forward as a leading educational institution.
