Together, we champion continuous innovation and collaboration in our shared mission to redefine senior care across the country.</p> <h3>&nbsp;<strong>Job Summary</strong></h3> <p>Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an experienced Nephrologist (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive kidney care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, as well as patients receiving dialysis treatment. This part-time role is ideal for a physician passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and innovative healthcare environment.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Provide comprehensive nephrology consultations and ongoing management for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.</li> <li>Oversee dialysis treatment plans, adequacy, and patient outcomes for both facility-based and outpatient dialysis programs.</li> <li>Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and dialysis staff to ensure optimal clinical performance.</li> <li>Interpret and act on diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging to guide individualized treatment plans.</li> <li>Manage associated conditions such as hypertension, anemia, and fluid/electrolyte disorders.</li> <li>Serve as Medical Director for one or more dialysis centers, ensuring compliance, quality improvement, and adherence to CMS regulations.</li> <li>Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings and provide leadership for quality and performance initiatives.</li> <li>Educate patients and families on kidney disease management, dialysis options, and lifestyle modifications.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and participate in ongoing care coordination.</li> <li><strong>Clinical management</strong>: Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose conditions, and adjust dialysis treatment plans and medications in collaboration with a nephrologist.</li> <li><strong>Patient monitoring:</strong> Continually oversee patients' health during and after dialysis, interpret lab results, and respond to any complications.</li> <li><strong>Interdisciplinary coordination:</strong> Lead and collaborate with the facility's nursing staff, dialysis technicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care.</li> <li><strong>Patient and family education:</strong> Educate patients and their families on kidney disease, the dialysis process, and critical lifestyle modifications like diet and fluid intake.</li> <li><strong>Administrative documentation: </strong>Maintain precise and timely patient records, manage medication orders, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.</li> <li><strong>Patient advocacy:</strong> Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing clinical and emotional support while coordinating care with specialists.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Must be an MD or DO from an accredited medical school.</li> <li>Must have completed an Internal Medicine Residency.</li> <li>Must have completed an accredited Nephrology Fellowship Program.</li> <li>Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology (or Board Eligible with certification in process).</li> <li>Active and unrestricted medical license in Louisiana&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.</li> <li>Commitment to patient-centered care and improving outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease.</li> <li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/ walk/ work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Competitive salary<strong>: </strong>$100,000.00 - $150,000.00</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Malpractice Insurance</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Work With Us?</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors</li> <li>Work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment</li> <li>Enjoy work-life balance</li> </ul> <p>#INDL</p>
