This is a newly created role driven by our strategic initiative to modernize network architecture, improve internet reliability, and transition toward a cloud-first, zero trust security model.</p> <p>You will own network performance across our clinic environment, drive the evaluation and deployment of cloud security solutions (Zscaler and Fortinet), and serve as a key technical partner to the broader IT and security teams. This role is critical to enabling reliable clinical operations and supporting our continued expansion.</p> <h2><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across 70+ clinic and corporate locations</li> <li>Lead a networking strategy and deployment using Fortinet and Zscaler, ensuring optimal performance, redundancy, and failover across clinic sites</li> <li>Administer and optimize Zscaler ZIA for secure internet access, zero trust network access, and SaaS application control</li> <li>Manage firewall policies, centralized configuration, and firmware lifecycle across the environment</li> <li>Implement and maintain internet redundancy strategy (fiber primary, coax/5G failover) across Tier 1 and Tier 2 clinic sites</li> <li>Monitor network health and performance using available tools; identify and remediate root causes of clinic slowness, outages, and disconnections</li> <li>Establish and maintain network standards, documentation, and configuration baselines across all sites</li> <li>Define and report on network KPIs including MTTR, uptime, outage trends, and ISP performance</li> <li>Partner with the security team to enforce ZTNA policies, access controls, and network segmentation</li> <li>Support clinic technology deployments for new location openings and infrastructure upgrades</li> <li>Manage vendor relationships with ISPs, Fortinet, Zscaler, and other network technology partners</li> <li>Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to improve network reliability and reduce operational overhead</li> <li>Other related networking duties as assigned</li> <li>Occasional travel for critical issues or growth</li> <li>Being on call rotation</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration roles</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, particularly Fortinet SD-WAN (FortiGate, FortiManager)</li> <li>Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Zscaler ZIA and/or ZPA in an enterprise or multi-site environment</li> <li>Strong understanding of Fortinet product suite including FortiGate firewalls, AP’s, switches, and FortiManager</li> <li>Experience designing and managing multi-site WAN environments with ISP redundancy and failover</li> <li>Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP</li> <li>Experience with network monitoring and observability tools</li> <li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes of complex network issues</li> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, security, and operations teams</li> <li>Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA)</li> <li>Familiarity with zero trust architecture and identity-based network access models</li> <li>Exposure to cloud-native security platforms and SaaS-first network strategies</li> <li>Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4 or higher) or Zscaler certifications</li> <li>Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) in a co-managed model</li> <li>Familiarity with SolarWinds or similar network monitoring platforms</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Benefits to Support Your Wellbeing &amp; Lifestyle</strong></h2> <p>Full-time team members at Metro Vein Centers are eligible for:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance</li> <li>401(k) with Company Match</li> <li>Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + Paid Company Holidays</li> <li>Company-Paid Life Insurance</li> <li>Short-Term &amp; Long-Term Disability Insurance</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li> <li>Career Growth &amp; Development Opportunities</li> <li>A collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on delivering exceptional patient care</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 12px;">Compensation for this role varies based on years of experience, skill set, and alignment with position requirements.</span></p></div><div class="title">Compensation:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$80,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$90,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>The Metro Vein Centers Difference</strong></p> <p><strong>Healthy legs.
